Generally speaking, most customers who have been engaged in the injection molding industry for many years have the ability to judge and select the appropriate injection molding machine for production. However, in some cases, the customer may need the manufacturer’s assistance to decide which specification of injection molding machine to use. Even the customer may only have product samples or ideas, and then ask whether the manufacturer’s machine can be produced or which model is more suitable.
The plastic raw materials used in the process of injection molding are diverse, and the types and forms of mold design are also diverse. In addition, the operators’ familiarity with specific injection molding machines and the differences of operation skills and practical experience among workers are also different. At the same time, the objective environment (such as ambient temperature, humidity and air cleanliness) It will also vary with the seasons.
So do you know how to buy the injection molding machine? Of course not. Besides knowing how to purchase the injection molding machine, I also need to know how to install and debug the injection molding machine. Here’s how to install and debug the injection molding machine:
1. Equipment installation
If the machine is installed on the concrete foundation, the Civil Engineer shall confirm the ground condition of the foundation, and then carry out the construction of the concrete foundation.
If the injection molding machine is installed on the flexible anti-seismic foot base, the foundation can be omitted, but the ground bearing capacity is required to be more than 10t / m2. At the same time, such anti-seismic pads make the whole machine in a stable and horizontal operation state.
The place where the machine is installed shall be placed in a ventilated, dry, dust-free place with sufficient operation space to ensure installation, commissioning and maintenance around the equipment. At the same time, it shall ensure that the operators can easily patrol, take products and transport products. Sufficient space shall be reserved where the equipment is installed.

2. Equipment commissioning
The machine has been adjusted before leaving the factory. After installation, the following items are mainly adjusted: the horizontal adjustment of the plane on the frame, the longitudinal allowable tolerance is 0.20mm/m, and the transverse allowable tolerance is 0.16mm/m (adjusted by the Shockproof foot). Adjustment of nozzle centrality (adjusted by the ejector bolt).
3. Preparations before commissioning
For parts with hard chromium plating on the surface, such as pull rod and crosshead guide rod, all oil cylinder piston rods shall be carefully cleaned of dust and dirt to avoid damaging the surface quality of seals or chromium plating layer. After cleaning, apply a small layer of lubricating oil.
Before the machine runs, it is necessary to replenish the parts that have been lubricated before leaving the factory. For equipment with centralized lubrication system, the oil storage volume stored in the lubrication pump shall be checked before supplying lubricating oil. If the lubricating oil volume is insufficient, it shall be added to the lubricating oil volume. In the future, we should pay close attention to the inspection and make up the oil storage properly.
After startup and operation, the oil level shall be checked again. If it is insufficient, it shall be refueled again. In order to ensure good operation of the equipment, the refueled oil shall be filtered before being added into the oil tank, which can be added through the air filter or oil filter truck, and the hydraulic oil of different product models shall not be mixed, which will deteriorate all the hydraulic oil.
4. Commissioning
The wiring of three-phase power supply shall enable the motor to drive the oil pump to rotate in the correct direction. (please note: the oil pump can be started only after sufficient applicable hydraulic oil is filled into the oil tank of the hydraulic system).
Check the correct steering of the oil pump as follows:
One person is responsible for starting the oil pump, and the other person is responsible for observing the rotation direction of the oil pump motor and starting the oil pump by instantaneous inching (Note: stop immediately after the oil pump rotates to avoid damaging the oil pump);
From the end of the motor to the direction of the oil pump, the rotation direction should be clockwise;
If the motor rotates counterclockwise, at this time, the three-phase power lines on the three pole circuit breaker QF1 shall be picked at random, and the two power lines shall be connected interchangeably, which can change the rotation direction of the motor from counterclockwise to clockwise. Note: if the motor rotates counterclockwise and the oil pump has no oil pressure and makes noise, the oil pump will be damaged if it continues to run.
