Properly adjust the underinjection problem to avoid incomplete parts of injection molding machine
In the process of using the injection molding machine, the phenomenon of underinjection sometimes occurs. Underinjection means that the injection material in the injection molding machine does not completely fill the mold cavity, resulting in incomplete plastic products injected. It can be imagined that incomplete plastic products belong to defective products, can not be put into the market. Manufacturers have investigated the causes of under-injection of injection molding machine. There are many reasons for under-injection, mainly the following ones, which can be adjusted appropriately.
Adjustment method for underinjection of injection molding machine:
- If the amount of material or cushion material is insufficient, adjust it appropriately until the parts are fully filled.
- If the temperature of the cylinder of the injection molding machine is too low, the melt viscosity is larger when the material temperature is low, and the resistance when the injection molding machine fills the mold is also large. Appropriately increasing the material temperature can enhance the melt fluidity.
- Injection molding machine injection pressure or speed is too low, the filling process of the melt in the injection molding machine cavity, lack of enough driving force to continue to the remote flow. The injection pressure is increased so that the melt in the cavity can always obtain sufficient pressure and material supplement before condensing and hardening.
- Injection molding machine injection time is insufficient. It takes time to inject the full weight of the piece. If the time is insufficient, the injection volume is insufficient. Increase the injection time until the mold filling is complete.
- Improper pressure holding of injection molding machine. The main reason is that the injection molding machine turns pressure too early, that is, the pressure holding switching point is adjusted too much, and the remaining more material is supplemented by the pressure holding pressure, which will inevitably make the parts underweight and underinjection. The pressure holding conversion position should be adjusted to a better point to make the parts complete.
- Mold temperature is too low. When the shape and thickness of the parts change greatly, too low mold temperature will consume too much injection pressure of the injection molding machine, appropriately raise the mold temperature or reset the mold channel.
- Bad fit of nozzle and mould gate. During injection, the injection nozzle spilled material, and part of the material was lost. The mold was readjusting to make it fit well with the injection molding machine nozzle.
- The nozzle hole is damaged or partially blocked. Choosing a seat back, nozzle and mould for steadily for a long period of time, make the injection hole easily get smaller, namely material circulation way smaller, the area of the article is the volume increase, can make cold, jam or consume too much injection pressure, nozzle hole should remove the nozzle repair or cleaning, properly reset shot forward position, will impact force to reduce to the reasonable value.
